At a glance

AI Hairstyle Changer is an online AI hairstyle changer: upload one clear selfie, pick a style such as a bob, curtain bangs, a buzz cut or copper red, or describe your own, and get a photo of yourself with the new hair. Every request asks the model to keep your face, skin tone, age, clothes and background and to change only the hair. A Preview image costs 20 credits and a Detail image 45. Registration is free, every image uses purchased credits, and failed generations are refunded automatically.

Why use this AI hairstyle changer

A haircut is hard to undo. Seeing it on your own face first takes the guesswork out of the salon chair.

  • 01

    Your face, your photo

Every request tells the model to keep your face shape, features, skin tone, age, expression, clothes and background, and to change only the hair.

  • 02

    Cuts, colors, bangs and beards

Try a pixie, a lob, a wolf cut or box braids; switch to copper or platinum; add curtain bangs, a beard or a shaved head.

  • 03

Copy a look from a photo

Add a second photo of a hairstyle you like. The model uses it only for the hair and is told never to copy that person's face.

  • 04

    Compare up to 4 takes

Ask for up to 4 variations in one run and keep the one that looks most natural. Each variation is priced as one image.

  • 05

    Private by default

Your selfies and results appear only in your account. They are never published, used as site examples or used by us to train models.

  • 06

    Prices you see first

The credit price shows before you press the button, and generations that fail are refunded to your balance automatically.

How to change your hairstyle with AI

It takes about as long as scrolling through haircut photos.

  1. 01

    Upload a selfie

Use a sharp, well-lit photo facing the camera, with your hair and hairline visible. Add a photo of a hairstyle you like if you want to copy it.

  2. 02

    Pick or describe the hair

Tap a style such as Bob or Curtain bangs, or write the length, cut, texture and color in your own words.

  3. 03

    Compare and download

Results appear on the page and in your history when they are ready. Compare the variations, download the best one and show it to your stylist.

What an AI hairstyle changer does

An AI hairstyle changer, also called hairstyle AI, haircut AI or an AI hair changer, redraws the hair in your own photo. You upload a selfie and describe a new cut or color, and an image model paints the new hair onto your head while leaving your face, clothes and background as they were.

AI Hairstyle Changer wraps every request in a fixed brief: keep the person's identity, age and clothing exactly, change only the hair (and facial hair only when you ask), make the hairline, parting and volume believable, and add no text or watermark. You only describe the hair.

The result is a generated preview, not a promise. Real hair depends on its texture, density and the stylist's hands, so treat the image as the start of a conversation at your appointment.

Preview or Detail: which model to use

Preview runs Nano Banana 2 at 20 credits per image. It is quick and good for trying many cuts and colors before you narrow them down.

Detail runs Nano Banana Pro at 45 credits. It studies your photo more carefully, which gives the closest likeness and finer strands, curls and color blends. Use it for the final look you want to show.

  • Comparing many different cuts: Preview
  • Testing hair colors on the same cut: Preview
  • Curls, braids and balayage with fine detail: Detail at 2K
  • The picture you bring to the salon: Detail

Selfies that give better results

The model can redraw hair, but it can only keep what it can see of you. These habits matter more than anything you type:

  • Face the camera in soft daylight, without strong shadows
  • Show your whole head, with a little space above the hair
  • Keep glasses on only if you wear them every day
  • Skip beauty filters so your skin and features stay true
  • For a much shorter cut, a photo with long hair tied back helps
  • Use a recent photo that shows your current hairline

Your photos stay yours

Upload only photos of yourself, or of an adult who has agreed to it. Photos of children are not allowed. Your selfies are stored at an unlisted link so the model can read them, your results are saved to your private history, and neither is ever shown to other visitors.

We keep them while your account is open, with no automatic deletion schedule, and delete them when you ask us to. We do not sell your photos or use them to train models.

AI preview, camera filter or salon consultation?

Each has its place. An AI preview edits your own photo; a camera filter is a live overlay; a consultation tells you what your hair can really do.

AI hairstyle questions, answered

How does the AI hairstyle changer work?

You upload a selfie and choose or describe a hairstyle. The site sends your photo with a fixed brief to an image model (Nano Banana 2 for Preview, Nano Banana Pro for Detail), which redraws only the hair and keeps the rest of the photo.

Is it free?

Registration is free, but every image uses purchased credits: 20 for Preview or 45 for Detail. There is no signup allowance or daily free tier. A pack starts at $4.99.

Will it still look like me?

Usually, when the selfie is sharp and well lit; Detail keeps the likeness best. AI can still shift small details such as the hairline, ears or eye shape, so compare the variations and run again if something looks off.

Can I copy a hairstyle from a picture?

Yes. Upload your selfie first, then a photo of the hairstyle you like. The model is told to use the second photo only for the cut and color, never for the face. Use pictures you have the right to use, and never a photo of a child.

Can I try hair colors and beards too?

Yes. Name a color such as copper red, platinum or balayage and add “same cut” to keep your length, or ask for a beard, stubble, a goatee or a clean shave. The hair color changer and beard filter pages have ideas.

Whose photos can I upload?

Only photos of yourself, or of an adult who has given you permission. Photos of anyone under 18 are not allowed, and neither are images meant to impersonate or embarrass someone. Accounts that break these rules may be closed.

What happens to my photos?

Your selfies are stored at an unlisted link so the model can read them, and your results are saved to your private history. Only you see them. We keep them while your account is open, with no automatic deletion schedule, and delete them when you ask us to.

Will my real haircut look exactly like the picture?

Not necessarily. The image previews the style on your face. Your hair's texture, thickness and growth pattern decide what a stylist can achieve, so bring the picture as a reference and ask what is realistic.
